Hello, I am Ani, an English specialist.
I graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of European Languages and Communication, English language and literature department, and received the qualification of a pedagogue.
I completed my master’s degree at the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (MA TEFL) department of the American University of Armenia. I graduated both degrees with honors.
I participated in several cultural-pedagogical teachers’ knowledge and methodology exchange programs (for example, Global Educators) and received a certificate of cooperation and participation.
I worked not only with Armenian students, but also with people of other nationalities and cultural affiliations. Later I worked with different nationalities also as an English mentor in Snails Speaking Community.
As a result of my years of teaching experience, I have come to the conviction that any student can achieve the level of English he dreams of, for this he needs inspiration and desire.
I always advise all my students to “Never give up”. I like to share English aphorisms with them.
I think the teacher and the student should be friends, the two should continue to reconstruct and create new knowledge in cooperation with each other. I consider it important to instill in my students the idea that language is not just a means of communication, but also an expression of culture and our inner values through the choice of our preferred words.
In conclusion, I will say that teaching is my mission, and I continue to make sure every day that I have made the right professional choice.
